Jim discovered some more thread-bare socks. And we laughed as we looked through photo albums from days before we knew each other…some of the pictures are definitely keepers, but some pages from the albums are going straight to the trash.

Independence Day

Today is Independence Day in Ukraine, and this year’s parade highlighted the military might of this young nation. As we started to walk into church this morning, we heard rumblings and then saw many of the vehicles were passing our way. I ran back out to the street to catch the end of this particular group.

We continue to pray that the conflict between Georgia and Russia does not escalate to this part of the world…
