Many of you have heard me speak about the wonderful ministry of Music Camp International. My friend Connie Fortunato began this work years ago in Romania and has since brought her love of both music and children to Ukraine.
I only recently realized that there are several youTube videos featuring Music Camp International.
I am sharing this particular one because I was both at the school taking pictures with a friend and also at the concert where Mrs. Yushchenko addressed the children. (I was only permitted at the public concert that took place outside immediately following the private concert.) Keep in mind as you watch this video that everything (instruments and choral) are learned in one week.
Amazing.
I love my life. I am living in Ukraine with my best friend (my hubby) and I have the privilege of visiting hospitalized children who are HIV+. Some are orphans; some have families. All need attention.
