Westminster Shorter Catechism #26

Question #26:

How doth Christ execute the office of a king?

Christ executeth the office of a king, in subduing us to himself, in ruling and defending us, and in restraining and conquering all his and our enemies.

“Your troops will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies.” Psalm 110:3

“For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.” Isaiah 33:22

“For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.” 1 Corinthians 15:25

  1. Happy Easter to you all in Ukraine. Do you by any chance know Corey and Janice Lemke?

  2. I was part of a women’s group that organized weekend retreats every other year for missionary ladies…Janice attended these conferences. I don’t know whether she would know ME or not, but I knew most everyone who registered.
