Question 11:

What are God’s works of providence?

Answer:

God’s works of providence are, his most holy, wise and powerful preserving and governing all his creatures, and all their actions.

“The Lord is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made.” Psalm 145:17

“How many are your works, O Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.” Psalm 104:24

“All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom.” Isaiah 28:29

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.” Hebrews 1:3

“The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.” Psalm 103:19

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthews 10:29-31
