iConfusion

Just when I get on a roll, my lack of technical knowledge gets right smack dab in the way.

Here’s the thing: I know how to get quite a bit done on my computer when everything is running well. But I am stopped in my tracks when…let’s say iPhoto…doesn’t work correctly. Or maybe it’s because the pictures were all taken off and put on an external hard drive and then put back on. (Don’t ask…long night for a friend!)

So I’m all ready to do a post featuring a picture from weeks ago…and BAM! It’s not available. I click on it and get an exclamation point instead of the picture.

Okay, so that’s my venting for the night.

On the really bright side of things, a newly-arrived missionary is organizing a group for Mac users here in Kyiv…to learn from each other (or, in my case, simply to learn!). I have a feeling that some of my issues are really non-issues. I just don’t know what to do. Making it an issue, right?

Oh, nine weeks until Christmas Eve. My first Christmas Eve with a grandson in residence. Oh, this is going to be a good one!!

(Sneaked that little comment in without a proper ‘grammy alert’ warning. Sorry about that.)
