Classic toilet paper

Visitors don’t usually leave our bathroom laughing and carrying the empty toilet paper wrapper. But that’s what happened a couple of weeks ago…

We didn’t understand what was so funny. Jim simply purchased a 4-roll pack of toilet paper, as usual, albeit a new brand for us.

Turns out that back in the day, toilet paper was one of the first products that quickly became unavailable on market shelves. And so newspaper was the substitute toilet paper.

The wrapper on our new brand was designed as a newspaper.

And to add to the chuckles, the star-shaped design at the top of the wrapper meant high quality during the Soviet days.

Highest quality newspaper toilet paper.

Classic. At least that’s what the label says.
