Declutter…Day 132-138

The question is: How great would YOU feel if you removed one unused item from your home each day for a whole year? The declutter challenge.
Toss, Donate, or Sell one item from your home every single day for one year.
No rules.
No advice.

Day 132-138
Here’s the deal, and if you have any questions, please refer to the rules above.

I had the distinct privilege to accompany my husband to the International Christian Medical-Dental Association meeting last week in beautiful Schladming, Austria. We didn’t have internet access every day, and I had only pre-posted through Monday (Day 131). So I am going to have to “bulk” several days together. Some was done before we left, some while there (amazingly enough) and some today since we’ve been back. Soooo, here goes:

Mostly clothes. Jim actually threw away a polo shirt in Schladming…he suddenly realized that it was becoming a little too threadbare to get away with wearing! While sifting through things to get ready to have week-long houseguests — our son and his wife…THANKS! — Jim and I both ruthlessly tossed clothes, slippers, belts, MORE PAPER. Certainly enough for an item a day, though it was actually more.
What did you dump today?

  1. Congrats to Jamie(and Dear Dasha)! Of course WE are excited! What a whirlwind though. Packing, moving, flying, tears and parting! (We can relate). Yet how wonderful to be launched into a new life, a new adventure from God!

  2. riverblues: Jamie was here when your comment came through…passed your congrats on immediately! Yeah, it will be quite different living in Ukraine WITHOUT Jamie and Dasha. Already had to let Anna go. And Jeanne and Kolya are considering a move to the Eastern Shore. Go figure! (Is that God I hear calling me back to the States?)
