The question is: How great would YOU feel if you removed one unused item from your home each day for a whole year? The declutter challenge.
Toss, Donate, or Sell one item from your home every single day for one year.
I had a bit of a panic today when I began searching for some specific baking items. Earlier I had taken many items out of the kitchen, only returning them if I actually needed them. And I THOUGHT I had boxed up a few things knowing that I would eventually want them. Well, today was the day that I needed a specific item. And I looked everywhere I could think of. I suddenly panicked thinking that I had probably decluttered them! I called my daughter Jeanne and asked her if she remembered seeing the cinnamon candies when she was here last week. She hadn’t, but she logically concluded that I hadn’t thrown them away. How can you be so sure, I asked? Because you didn’t blog about them, she responded. And she was right. I did find them and made cinnamon apple slices as a side dish for our dinner guest tonight…pretty tasty actually.
So, what DID I get rid of today? Our houseguest over the last week left us some fairly current news magazines in ENGLISH. So, I felt like I could finally get rid of the months-old journals. Ahhh. (Is that replacing clutter with clutter? Don’t answer that…)
What did you dump today?
