Declutter…Day 107

The question is: How great would YOU feel if you removed one unused item from your home each day for a whole year? The declutter challenge.
Toss, Donate, or Sell one item from your home every single day for one year.
No rules.
No advice.

Day 107

Hopefully we didn’t scare Michelle or the Burgess family or Julie and her children or Marina when they walked into our living room today. The center of the room is overflowing with STUFF that I am going through as I watch the Olympics. Some things are now in the trash — original art drawings from a Sunday school class I taught for orphans several years ago, picture negatives (don’t gasp — I haven’t looked at them for years…why hang on to them?!), paper, paper, paper — and I was even able to send a visitor out the door with a brand-new sippy cup…she has many new moms in her church here who will be thrilled to have it.

DEADLINE: Clear up this mess before houseguests arrive tomorrow afternoon.

What did you dump today?

  1. I just want to share with the world that no, I was not scared and that it was VERY organized clutter stacks.

  2. Some might ask, “what’s a picture negative?” I think we have a drawerful as well. We are safely home, but part of us remains there in Ukraine. Thanks for everything!

  3. Michelle: THANK YOU for not being afraid! And letting the whole world know it! hahaha.

Wayne: Glad to hear that you’re safely home. I remember how it felt to leave here after a short trip — you do definitely feel that a part of you is here. I’m so thankful that your family was able to minister here all together.
