I ran across this article today and it made me laugh out loud.
Oh, I do remember the road trips with little ones. My preferred time of travel was right after dinner until breakfast — just about the length of time from Salisbury, Maryland to Glendale, Ohio (where the grandparents lived!). My thought process was that once they had been fed, put into their sleeper pajamas, and safely buckled into their car seats (all three of them!), then they really shouldn’t have any needs until morning. No unnecessary stopping for food or drink, no need for diaper changes, no dropped pacifiers. Worked for me! (The only challenge was switching drivers and/or needing gas…don’t even ask how we handled THOSE situations. ANYTHING to keep them asleep!!)
