When it rains, it pours. And today was one of those days. I took pictures earlier of the rain. Since then the sky has been blue, almost all of the puddles have dried up. Jim, Jamie and I headed down to Independence Square to get some pre-pictures before Paul McCartney performs tonight. By the time we got to the Conservatory to get some interesting shots of the square from up above, the weather was looking quite threatening. By the time we reached the upper levels of the Conservatory, the sky again opened up.
Jim and I gave up and have returned home. (Jamie is meeting Dasha and has a standing-room spot in one of the “Fan Zones.”) I’m thankful we’re here, because once again the thunder is clapping and the lightning is flashing…and the rain is gushing down.
