Declutter…Day 036

The question is: How great would YOU feel if you removed one unused item from your home each day for a whole year? The declutter challenge.
Toss, Donate, or Sell one item from your home every single day for one year.
No rules.
No advice.

Day 036

Okay, here’s a crazy one. I tend to go in spurts of traveling…six weeks to the States, every night a different place…or shorter trips within Ukraine. More than once I have forgotten to pack my toothbrush and immediately have to go shopping for one. I discovered that if I opened the package oh so carefully that I could use the packaging as a travel case for my toothbrush. Well, today I was clearing off the top of the dryer (which is in our bathroom) and realized that I still had the package. Absolutely no need to keep it — just thought that MAYBE I’d use it again. I typically just use a plastic bag…

Away with that clutter!

What did you dump today?

  1. Hey M – thanks for the tips! I added some pictures. I need to take some more and get things up to date on that end of things. Yura has tonsillitis, so having loads of fun here. I really like the declutter challenge. Did you come up with that or did you borrow it from someone else? Right now we are living in someone else’s flat, so if we did the declutter thing, it wouldn’t be appreciated. I look forward to implementing it once we get our own place. – Wendy

  2. Wendy: Love that you are beginning to blog! No, I was not the one who started this decluttering plan — usually I post the button that goes with SAHMomy. Look a bit earlier in my posts and you’ll see her blog address.
