Suzanne: I’m glad you’re enjoying the posts! I really wasn’t sure whether anybody else was smiling with me or not…I do believe we may have a couple of matching ornaments! Some of their homemade ones are just too heavy for our (shuddering as she writes this next word) fake (gasp!) tree. Salt/flour/water wreathes, bells. Still have them, though!

I love these ornament posts! We haven’t put ours up yet but each one is a reminder of a precious person or a special memory!
(I think I have the same “Jamie” ornament only with a little boy named Ben:-)

I need to be in Church this Sunday because:
I am not a member of a social club?
because I have no place to make a fashion statement?
because the preacher has car (luxury car that is) payments?
because my body is NOT the temple of the lord?
because on the moment of death of Jesus at the cross, the curtain separating the priest and the holly place remained
in one piece, thus not rendering priesthood useless?
because, after finding numerous accounts in the gospel, Jesus held money in his healing hand? yeah, sure…
because I have a great need for clean comedy?
because christians in the last 1000 years did not slaved africans, stole lands form the indians, killed jews in the inquisition, corrupted the doctrine of the gospel by preaching wealth acquisition, promoted wars, in few words:
HAVE KEPT THE LAW GIVEN TO MOSES? Lol…
News Flash: God has no needs, he is almighty, we are filthy rags, and do not deserve redemtion… I pray for the Church, the real Church.

Wonderful post for World AIDS Day. I can’t think of a more worthy cause than finding a family for an orphaned HIV+ child. I’m working on my post now and will link.
