Once I looked at the date today…lots of memories came to mind.
June 18 is my mom and dad’s wedding anniversary. I am so thankful that I am a child whose parents stayed married! Who loved each other always. Who helped each other do more and better at whatever their tasks. I love to be able to point to them as examples of commitment! (Mom, I ate a banana with peanut butter in memory of Dad.)
And, June 18 is also the date that Anna and Jeanne were baptized. Christ Church. Glendale, Ohio. Quite an experience with twin girls and multiple godparents!
(A side note…it’s also Paul McCartney’s birthday. They say it’s his birthday. He’s gonna have a good time.)
I love my life. I am living in Ukraine with my best friend (my hubby) and I have the privilege of visiting hospitalized children who are HIV+. Some are orphans; some have families. All need attention.
