I received word this morning from our daughter Jeanne that a dear friend had just heard that her twin brother’s 3-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer. Her nephew has undergone surgery at Johns Hopkins, and they are waiting for him to regain some strength before starting him on chemotherapy.

Simple pleasures.
Changed the header photo from snowy tree branches to spring flowers.
Wishful thinking, I’m afraid. Winter has not given up its grip, though I feel a slight loosening.
