I think we would all agree that there are some parts of weddings that are normal both in Ukraine and the States. Examples: witnesses standing with the bride and groom, the bride escorted by her father, a pastor or priest officiating, and a bridal bouquet of some sort.
When I went online to check where we might be able to begin looking for a bridal bouquet in Kyiv…well, I was quickly reminded that HERE flowers are presented to the bride by guests immediately following the ceremony. Loads of flowers. I had forgotten this fact.
So when you google bridal bouquets in Kyiv (or Kiev)…you get lots of options of flowers to present to the bride.
Still looking for a florist that might create the bouquet that a bride will carry down the aisle on the way to the altar. Most likely we’ll find a clever friend who can put one together once we determine the flowers.

Not a problem… When I was looking for my bridal bouqet I was a little lost because there were too MANY options. So, I made it easy and chose the florist shop that was the cheapest and the closest to our place
By the way, I think I can do it on Saturday and come dress-hunting with you

My parents threw thom and I a pretty big wedding. But we picked the band and the flowers. When the florist arrived on the day of the wedding with the bouquets, they were not at all what I had asked for. So I told them to go away, I’d take care of it myself. On a Sunday. I guess brides can be insane even when they’re laid back! Anyway, I went to the supermarket and got bouquets for 3.99 and wrapped silk ribbon around them. Maybe some tulle as well I don’t remember. We got many compliments on them! I laughed and told everyone…”thanks! 3.99 at the supermarket! A huge savings. HUGE. And just as pretty:)
Kate: Well done!! We have discovered that there is a wholesale florist where we can buy flowers in bulk. Considering just trying to do it ourselves…
